| VALEZE Valeze - Come Undone This 5 track EP is a good start for a talented Brooklyn-based singer/songwriter Tiffany Randol. The songs here are fresh and well-produced. With dynamo and go-getter Tiffany at the helm who knows how far this band can go. Randol has a great sound, ranging at its least immediate to Pat Benatar, but striking it more modern with the first track, "Hard to Forget", which sounds as good as anything from Shirley Manson and Garbage. Poppy, with good structure, 'Come Undone' was produced to showcase Randol's classically-trained voice. She is unique enough to propel through a tired genre of classic-rock inspired girl pop, yet comfortable enough to earn the attention of airplay seekers. Regardless of how you look at it, she has the voice that can carry the act so it's worth the buck to see the band live. And who knows, I'd put the Vegas odds at a respectable 40-60 that Valeze can score a major label from this EP. Seeing her now might presage $50 box seats at Madison Square Garden in five years. She can definitely sing and her production values are strong. Could be a breakthrough. --T. Leonardo
