VIDEOGAMES
a LIST collected by TONY LEONARDO

When I was young and an excitable fellow, I hit upon the concept of being able to document something in its entirety.

This began with my keen appetite for collecting things from beer cans to matchbox cars, and continued with a 5th grade attempt to write down the name of every band in existence. A useless task that quickly failed. Another ongoing project was to document every standup, arcade-style video game I had ever seen (this was before the advent of the Atari). I had to SEE the game, but I didn’t have to play it, and many were quite similar but possesed different names, which counted for my purposes. Herewith, for your amusement, an impartial list (I swear that a few pages are missing) of video games from an earlier era, circa mid 80's. The highlighted games were ones I had fond memories of playing.

Perhaps a reference point should be made: I stopped compiling this list sometime around the release of Pole Position II.

New Capitalism attempt! Rivative, as you know, is an online magazine devoid of advertisements but sufficiently lardered with stories of success and artwork of equanimity. Now we hope to bring these elements firmly together with a cash-generated revenue stream we call "TODD'S TERRIFIC T-SHIRT OF THE WEEK"

Our new Executive Director of Commerce, Todd Sentz, devised a plan to increase our cash flow in hopes of courting a favorable rating from Wall Street. Looking around for valuable assets, Todd discovered a huge cache of very cool-looking t-shirts. He informed Rivative of the idea to sell these t-shirts whereby we would gain a percentage of the profit. We were enthused by the prospect!

In deference to a court-ordered mandate of disclosure, we must inform you that the earnings from these sales are projected at 17 dollars and 50 cents.

If you are interested in one of the shirts below, click and you will be whisked away to the eBay page where they are up for sale.

We hope you enjoy this brave new commercial face of Rivative.
